Adding & Editing a Site Emergency News Item

1. Select Site & News on the side panel. Select the green + icon to add a new item or edit to make changes to an existing item.




2. News items can be saved as a Draft by not entering a Publish or Expire date. These will sit in Draft where they can be edited. Once a publish and/ or expire date is set, they then become Published. All future dated items will show as Scheduled. Searching for items can be filtered be selecting the relevant box.

3. Items in Expired folder can be re-published with a new date & time when relevant to show in the app. Items in Archived folder can be re-published when relevant to show in the app.  Unpublishing is a great option to remove content displaying on the app until its needed again, eg information on shutdowns. Items can be unpublished by selecting edit on an existing entry.
