Why do I
need to download Co Connect App?
- Co Connect App has been
implemented onsite by the company you work for/ are contracting for. Co
Connect is an enterprise workforce communication, engagement, information,
and an emergency app. It uses smart GIS technology with a unique human
centered interface, providing on-hand access to information, timely
communication & personal safety to the entire workforce while working
in remote, rural and offline environments.
Does it
CO Connect App cost me anything?

No.
This is paid for by the company.
Can Co
Connect App access my information?
·
The
App access photos/camera if you add a photo when submitting a maintenance
request, location for mapping and emergency. This is stored in AWS Australia
and is secure.
Is the
App tracking where I am?
- No, google does. The app will
only search your location I the event the urgent duress alarm has been
triggered.
How do I
get access & login?
- This is sent via text message,
Whatsapp, and email from the company when you are registered to come to
site. All information is held with the site.
Can
anyone search my name and find my location?
- NO. Searches by name cannot be
done in Co Connect App.
How does
the urgent SOS function work?
- In the event this is triggered,
it will send an in-app alert and SOS text message & WhatsApp to Emergency
Users. This function should only be used for critical emergencies.
What if
I have no phone signal or am offline?
- Co Connect app is built to work
in remote, rural & offline environments and will work without phone
signal. Content features will work, however calls and new information will
update when back online.
Why is
my location on the map not 100% accurate?
- This is due to the geo mapping
in remote areas. There is generally a few meters difference and can vary
based on different phones.
Where
does CO Connect App information come from?
- All information is added by the
company employees and portal access users.
If I
need medical assistance, how do I know who to contact?

Details
of the person/ contacts for medical assistance can be found by clicking on the
Village tab, Emergency Tab, then Medical Assistance.
I
accepted and event but now I have changed my mind. Can I cancel?
- Yes, you can cancel. Select the
event you have confirmed your place in on the social and fitness tab
(social, sport, fitness), and click cancel.
Where do
I report maintenance issues (eg, window wont close properly in my room)?
- Maintenance issues can be
reported in the app. Select the Village - Maintenance tab, Maintenance tab
again, then select +Request. Once completed this will be sent to the
maintenance team. Updates for your maintenance request will come via the
app.
Is my
roster automatically uploaded to the app?
- NO, however it is very simple
to add your roster in. Select Village – Roster tab, then select +. Enter
roster details here and click Save Roster. Edits to existing rosters can
also be made here.
I have
Co Connect App already, but I am changing sites. What do I do?

The new
company you are working for will update your access for the new site.
